Every day, our nation’s federal employees perform work that is essential to the health and well-being of every single American. And yet these dedicated, hardworking Americans are facing mass firings. Entire federal agencies are being shuttered, and vital government services are being disrupted or outright eliminated.

No one knows more about the dire implications of these attacks than federal employees. That’s why the National Treasury Employees Union (NTEU) turned to its members at 37 different agencies and departments to share, in their own words, the impact on the American public and their communities.

These stories come from a diverse group of federal employees from cities and towns across the country. They are scientists, attorneys, revenue officers, food inspectors, bank examiners, park rangers, and more. But they share a commitment to public service. They love their jobs, and they want to continue working for America.
